Course Overview

A quick and informative introduction to improving communication and wellbeing for people with a disability.

Why take this course?

Effective communication is at the heart of person-centred practice. But the way we communicate and express ourselves can look different for everyone – especially for people with a disability. So how can you, the Support Worker or frontline worker, support communication?

This 20 minute eLearning module introduces a range of strategies and communication aids for Support Workers to use when supporting people to communicate, leading to improved safety, health and wellbeing outcomes.
