Course Overview

An interactive 90-minute eLearning module for frontline supervisors, service managers, and experienced support workers to enhance their leadership skills in the unique context of supporting people with intellectual disabilities.

Why take this course?

Frontline practice leaders directly influence the way support workers approach their everyday role. In turn, support workers have a direct impact on the quality of life of the people they support. So when we connect the dots, it’s clear: effective and supportive frontline practice leadership is essential to the lives of people with an intellectual disability.

This 90-minute interactive eLearning module equips Frontline Practice Leaders with the tools and skills to improve the practice of support workers. Covering the 5 key tasks of practice leadership, this course includes videos, knowledge checks, and a handbook for reflective practice.
