Minister Stuart Robert and the NDIA have just announced some additional supports for providers and participants in Victoria.

Details are a bit thin on the ground, but here is what we know so far.

The NDIA brought together four large providers (they haven’t been named as of yet) to provide additional workers to smaller providers in residential settings.

These providers will be able to offer advice, additional support staff and isolation accommodation to smaller providers impacted by COVID-19.

They have also announced that if an outbreak has been identified, Aspen Medical will be the first clinical respondents. They will ensure that infection control procedures, PPE and nursing staff are immediately in place. Though you would hope that there is PPE and infection control procedures before Aspen Medical arrives!

We expect more details to be here when they become available.
