Often when we think of strategic planning, we ready ourselves for a day of facilitated planning for organisational growth over the next 1-5 years.

But the plan often then ends up lost in day to day business priorities and is only pulled out and dusted off, once a year, at audit time and at the end of the planning cycle, when frenzied activities begin.

A strategic planning framework is a different approach that takes the last-minute panic from planning. And when integrated into business and quality management activities becomes a business as usual process and much more than the development of a plan and facilitation of a day of “dreaming”.

Do you have a documented framework for strategic planning? This guide was created to assist providers to understand their requirements under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards requirements for planning. It outlines an approach for embedding strategic planning in day-to-day activities.
