Understand your obligations when delivering higher risk NDIS support services.

This module breaks down the compliance requirements for the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's High Intensity Skills Descriptors and Practice Standards for:

• complex bowel care

• enteral feeding support

• dysphagia support

• ventilator support

• tracheostomy support

• urinary catheter support

• ventilation

• subcutaneous injections

• complex wound care support

• epilepsy and seizure support

This module is relevant to managers in HR/ learning and development, operations and rostering. It is also relevant to frontline workers and team leaders to understand their obligations in relation to high intensity support.

Please note this module identifies the requisite skills and knowledge of workers, along with the types of policies, procedures, training and support plans that providers need when delivering these high risk supports. It does not cover the specialised training necessary to deliver these high intensity supports.
