Why take this course?

In SIL, teams are constantly making judgement calls about which tasks count as support and which fall into the blurry space of “overhead.” But when everyday activities like calling Centrelink, changing a GP or helping with forms are automatically treated as admin, valuable work is either unclaimed, incorrectly billed or lost in provider overheads.

This workshop explores the difference between participant-focused support and provider business tasks in SIL. You’ll learn how to identify what’s billable based on engagement, goals and functional domains and how to document it in a way that reflects genuine capacity building. The session will support clear role decisions, transparent billing and stronger claims, all within a framework that’s ethical, participant-centred and compliant with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.

B

Brent Woolgar

Brent is a bona fide master of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) detail, which considering he is an engineer is not surprising. Brent has built his reputation as one of the sector's leading experts in SDA with involvement in over 50 SDA related projects to date, ranging from parent groups, small organisations, large national organisations, state governments, community housing providers, for-profit investors, developers and many financial institutions. What Brent doesn't know about SDA is probably the stuff the NDIA don't know themselves yet.
